Chris has over a decade of in-depth technical experience at companies ranging in size from 10 to 15,000+. He found his passion for business operations over the course of 5 startups (3 with international operations). His industry experience encompasses digital marketplaces and the on-demand economy, SaaS, hardware, private aviation, automotive, cleantech, green products, real estate, transportation, and hospitality.

Today, Chris is the VP Finance & Operations at a Silicon Valley startup and managing Partner of Covolyst Consulting Group. Prior to co-founding Covolyst, Chris served as Director of Talent & Corporate Controller to Stellar Labs (digital marketplace for private jet travel) and Corporate Controller at Pinnacle Engines (automotive cleantech). There he managed external audit & tax with Big-4 firms, financial system implementations, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement consolidations, operational accounting, HR, and talent acquisition. He also managed IT, facilities, marketing, logistics, and administrative and legal operations. At other startups including Oodle (Facebook’s marketplace), Vegware (green dining products), and Movoto (online real-estate brokerage) he managed finance and accounting operations.

Chris holds a BS in Corporate Finance from San Francisco State University, is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and an active member of SHRM.

Eric Dimaano

Eric is a certified Professional in Human Resources & Recruitment with over 15 years of management experience in corporate (startup & Fortune 500) and agency environments. Eric’s industry experience encompasses consumer products and internet services focusing on fintech, edtech, online storage and data management, social networking, hardware, green organic products, and real estate.

Prior to co-founding Covolyst, Eric has held senior management roles at startups such as Sigfig (fintech) and Bitcasa (unlimited secure online storage). He has also held HR and talent management roles at Junyo (edtech), Oodle (Facebook's marketplace), FusionStorm (IT solutions), MetroFi (wireless internet), and Clorox among others. He has an extensive background in HR generalist affairs and specializes in talent acquisition and retention, performance management, employment law, training and development, mediation and alternative dispute resolution, benefits and compensation, and HR policy development and legal compliance.

Eric holds an MBA from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University and is a certified PHR.
